If people would keep their animals contained (fenced yard, leash, tie-out, in the house, etc.), then there'd be no question whether they were "lost" or not, now would there? :roll: I hope if one of my dogs ever got out of our yard or away from us somehow that he would be fortunate enough to find someone who cared enough take him in and try to contact us. It sounds to me that if the owners cared enough to have surgery done on their dog, then they are probably worried sick about where their dog is and whether she's OK. That was a good thing you did. The world could use more people like you.
