Ask not what your county can do for you but what you can do for your county .... sounds better than electoral district, IMO.
I agree, county sounds better than electoral district, but House district 28 includes part of Johnston and part of Sampson counties. http://www.ncga.state.nc.us/GIS/Red...use/House_Redistricting_Plan/distsimple28.pdf So would I have to say, ask not what your counties can do . . . ? btw, the original of that quote had a profound impact on my life. Less than a month after I heard JFK's inauguration speech, I was in basic training at Ft. McClellan, AL.
Yep, did a lot of that too. Never lived near any great bands, though. That must have been incredible having free concerts. I do'nt get to conserts much, but I have seen Santana twice and the Dead a few times, once post-Garcia. I've spent countless hours hanging out with friends and beers jamming to every band you had on that list. Ah, the memories. Remember when the Who did their "final tour" in '83? I was in Cleveland at the time and caught their last US show (they did 3 nights in Toronto after Cleveland.) Then they had to ruin it all by getting back together (I don't even remember when that was now.) As for the radio stations, they changed overnight. I had 100.7 as my 1st preset and 106.1 as the 2nd. So I could flip back and forth between the new and the old. I love Green Day and John Mayer, too. Most of the stuff they played, I have know idea who it was but it was mostly decent music. Then, 106.1 changed to country, and 100.7 changed to classic rock. So I still listen to 100.7 but haven't found another good station playing the new good stuff. Anyway, I'm sure we could hang out for quite awhile listening to tunes and not get bored. Snuff
