Faye sorry to hear about this. My sister passed away from Ovarian Cancer in Dec 2005 after a year or so of suffering. To all, every year we have a walk in honor of her and others who suffered from this. Those interested it will be Saturday September 26th at Sanderson High School in Raleigh. Once this cancer is found it is ususally in late stage.
I lost a friend to this as well. It was Stage 4 before it was found. Before she died, she took my hands and made me promise to get a yearly checkup no matter what. I'm so sorry Faye. My mother passed away 9 years ago last month, and even though it does get easier nobody is ever old enough to lose their mama. :grouphug:

Faye - I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you - but please know that my thoughts are with you. As one who too has lost her mother (8 yrs ago) I will pray for you and your family for strength during this time. It is such a bitter-sweet sadness to know that someone you love, who's been suffering, is in a much happier place now. :grouphug:
Oh Frugal:cry:.........I am sooo sorry. My mom just passed away on June 18th. She had cancer as well............ I got to spend a few days with her the week before because she lived in PA. And then the next week I was going back for funeral. I know how you feel, girl. She had lung cancer years ago that came back and then it got into her bones...nothing could be done then. You are in my prayers......I know we don't know each other but maybe we could go for a coke and a burger one evening and just talk.........PM me if you would like to. Faye ~ so sorry to hear about your loss. I too have lost some family members and some close friends from cancer. Hopefully one day a cure will be found. Know that you and your family are in our prayers.
