True, but most insurance companies won't pay for one at her age, unless there is a family history or symptoms. Men: Testicular cancer has been mentioned, and you need to check for that. You also need to check for prostate cancer. A simple blood test to check you PSA should be done annually, beginning at least by age 50, or younger if there is a family history of prostate cancer. Also, unpleasant as it may be, you need a DRE as part of your physical exam.

as far as insurance just give your company a call and see if they will pay. if they wont and you want one just pay for it, yes its expensive but i would rather pay and know than not know! some companies will pay at age 30.
