Stylist that can cut curly hair well.... I know this is an old thread but after reading it I still have a question. I have long curly red hair as well and love it. But I hate trying to find stylists that can cut it and not completely screw it up or that try to straighten it everytime. I've been going to a salon over near Food Lion at Flowers and have been happy but now the lady is only working a couple of hours 2 days a week and I can't get an appointment in a reasonable time (it would be over 2 weeks). So, the hunt begins again. I would like someone with curly hair or testimonials from people with curly hair recommending someone. Preferrably in the 40/42 area but I'm not limited to that. I work in RTP now so anywhere in between would be fine. Any suggestions??? Amy

My vote goes to Joni at Charisma - her mom has very curly hair and she takes care of hers. i also have long curly hair and i love the way she takes care of mine.

since y'all brought up hair salons today, i'm looking for a completely new do to go with my completly new attitude. i was thinking about an angled bob, not terribly short but much shorter than i have now. my girls say no. I was also thinking about bangs....again, girls say no. i'm getting rid of the blonde just need a new style to go with it. any suggestions?
Raeann(used to be at PURE) is there, too, and she is really good. I think she also has naturally curly hair.
A little shorter and Long Layers, long bangs that sweep to one side.... ??? I like browns with gold or reddish highlights...
