My first time at Taste of Cleveland last night, and it was great! I was so full I could hardly get the dessert down (but I did!!)

Christmas in Cleveland this year will be held on Thursday, December 4th from 6-8PM in the Forty Two Forty Plaza! Santa will be arriving on the Cleveland Fire Department firetruck to light the tree and the kids will have a chance to tell Santa their wish list and get a ticket from Santa to "buy" something for Mom or Dad at the Santa Shop. Local Chamber members and businesses will be providing tables with various crafts for the little ones to make while Christmas music is playing for all to enjoy. Singing, dancing, cocoa and more- mark your calendars now! This is one of the ways the Chamber gives back to our community to thank all of you for helping make the member's businesses successful by shopping and doing business locally.

There will also be a School Supply Drive for our local schools so please be sure to consider donating paper, folders, pens, markers, tissues, etc., to help our local students.

 

Thank you to all the community and volunteers who came out to make the 2014 Christmas in Cleveland such a great event. Thanks to the Cleveland Fire Department for bringing Santa in for us, Simple Twist and the 4240 Building Management for allowing us to use their space, the Christmas in Cleveland Elves and Committee for organizing and decorating, local Chamber members who donated their time and set up fun activities for the kids, and to the students from West Johnston High and Cleveland High for volunteering to help out in so many ways.:hurray::hurray:

Yesterday evening when i saw this video it only had a little over 1000 views, now it is up to almost 17,000:hurray::hurray:

Just a heads up, the annual Strawberry Festival is scheduled for April 25th this year and we have lots of new fun things to do including, get this, Camel Rides:hurray::hurray:

 

Don't miss our next Chamber Business After Hours this Thursday, April 16th, 5pm until, at Anthony Piazza in the Lowes Foods Shopping Center. This month the event is sponsored by KC's Convertapurses - Independent Miche Representative Karen Cooper ( www.karencooper.miche.com )and appetizers will be served with a cash bar. Whether you are already a member or just want to see what the Chamber is all about, this is such a great opportunity to meet and network with fellow local business people after a long day of work.
