Yeah, so they blew it. It helped that the refs let the Pathetics have a few yards without being called for penalties.

It was nice to see Dillon fumble the ball, though.

I still hate the Pathetics. Can't wait to see The Chargers chew them up and spit them out next week. Tomlinson will run all over them like a cheap rug. Can't wait to see Merriman drill Brady into the turf. Oh, what a happy day that will be.

Still sticking by my team. I love Pathetics fans.....they only love their team when they win. What happens when they go 4-12 one season? They scatter like roaches for the next "hot" team.

Actually, that's one game I could care less about.

    Colts won - good
    Dallas lost - good
    Pats won - very bad
Eagles/Giants win - no big deal

Then I guess we'll be having this same discussion next week after they beat SD Chargers. You can call them pathetic.. but who really looked pathetic today, and a few yards didn't make up for the three touchdowns they had over your Jets. Soooo....Chad Pennington and his Pop Warner arm can take their Comeback Player Of The Year award and get ready to golf tomorrow.

Even when the Patriots aren't winning I'm still a fan, I may live in the south now, but was born and raised up the road from the original Foxboro Stadium. I'll always be a Patriots fan, for good or bad... I've just been fortunate since Drew Bledsoe got hit by that Jets player back on Sept. 23, 2001 (the first NFL game played after the attacks on the WTC and Pentagon) and they had to put Brady in. So I guess I should thank the Jets for something, they let Belichick see that he really didn't need Bledsoe for a QB, Tom Brady stepped up to the plate just fine. If that hit hadn't ever occurred and Bledsoe hadn't been hospitalized for three days, then we probably never would have made it to the SB that year, or won it... and the list goes on. Tom Brady could have wound up being a career back-up QB for someone like Tony Romo, imagine that.

    THANKS JETS!!!!

btw... Patriot-Haters are really just jealous.

They may rattle Rivers a bit but they will not shut down Tomlinson or be able to stop Merriman from getting to Brady. A QB is only as good as his O-Line can protect him.

Hey i still love my Cowboys, been a fan since i was 5yo (trust me, that is a really long time). Broke my heart watching Tony Romo the other nite, poor guy really looked heartbroken knowing one slip had cost so much:cry:

    Team News

    Right through their fingers
The Ice Bowl. The Catch. And now ... The Drop. Tony Romo's mishandling of a perfect snap will fit right into the list of the most painful losses in Cowboys postseason history. The miscue might very well have cost the Cowboys a victory against the host Seattle Seahawks, who handed Dallas a 21-20 loss in a 2006 NFC Wild Card Game. The mishap happened as Martin Gramatica was about to kick a potential go-ahead 19-yard field goal with a minute left. "I don't think I've ever felt this low at any point," Romo said. Earlier, Gramatica kicked two field goals, Patrick Crayton caught a touchdown pass, and Miles Austin returned a kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown. With a 20-13 lead midway through the fourth quarter, Terry Glenn caught a pass but fumbled and the Seahawks got a safety out of it. Then the Seahawks got the ball back and scored the go-ahead touchdown. The Cowboys got into the red zone, but a fourth-and-inches situation with 1:19 remaining forced Dallas to try a field goal. "We're an extra point from being down to the eight teams left," Bill Parcells said. "That's what's the hardest thing."

    Hey Drummer Boy...

Blues Drummer, I've never bothered wasting my time on a message board before now. But I wanted to let you know that you sound like a loser. You should spend more energy cheering for the Jets, less energy talking stupid trash. At least use some relevant facts. Unfortunately for you the facts don't favor the Jets. And the thing that shows what a dope you are is that you know that BB went from Pats to Jets to Pats and Mangenius was with the Pats before that.

And the line about being a true fan, there in the down times, blah blah blah. Every loser fan of every loser team says the same thing. Now you're a Charger fan, talk about jumping on the bandwagon!

I know all about heartbreak......I'm a Jets fan for cryin' out loud! Just look at last season. What other team lost both of it's QB's, their best WR AND it's coach all in one season? GEESH!

I have never been a Dallas fan but I have always been a Landry fan. One of the best coaches in history. He brought class to game of football. I still think that the coaches should wear a coat and tie on the sidelines. That is one reason (among others) that I can't stand Belichik. He looks like a total slob on the sidelines. I am not denying he's a good coach....heck, he learned from Parcells...he just looks like a complete slob.

Out of the teams left, I would like to see The Colts go all the way. Manning has worked hard to get where they are but it seems like the boy is cursed. I would like to see a Colts/Saints SB but I think it it will be Chargers/Saints. I don't think that Philly or Chicago have a chance. Philly may have a "spark" right now but they are too beat up and Da Bears don't have a snowballs chance with Grossman at QB. Lovie Smith needs to pull him and play Griese. Strong defense and a sloppy offense will get a good seat in the stands at the SB.

Had to dig this one back up.... I think I was right so far.. had the order of playing SD and Indy wrong.. but we did beat the Jets.. and we did beat SD.. I'm 2 for 3 so far. Granted, I almost had a heart-attack in the last minute of the game last night.. but I never gave up on the Pats, not for one second!

I will say that Rivers played good, Brady had a bad game, but Belichick was able to adjust the plays around Bradys bad game and come out on top.

Now...I am not nit-picking but this always bothers me about some sports fans. Saying "we" when referring to their team. This has always been a pet peeve of mine. No offense, Tassy, but when did you fly to San Diego, put on your uniform and step on the field?

Sorry....just griping. I'm in a bad mood. After watching SD blow the game that SHOULD have won to the team I despise the most, I am not a happy boy. Now, what WILL make me happy is to see Indy blow them off the face of the football world by playing in the RCA Dome where the crowd noise can screw up the Pats' timing on offense.

What also fries me is to hear all of the banter on Sports Talk Radio about how Marty should be fired. WHAT!?!?!?!?! He took a team that was 1-15 to a 14-2 record and to the playoffs. Not to many coaches have done that. It's like Tony Dungy being fired for making the playoffs and not getting to the Super Bowl the past few years. How dumb is that? You have a team that went 14-2 with a QB who has never started an NFL game in his short career that has been playing very well. Take away Tom Brady's O-Line that can protect him and see what happens. Like I said, a QB is only as good as his O-Line is able to protect him. Take a fantastic QB and put him in a program that has no O-Line to protect him and he will become one of the "statistics".

Super Bowl = Saints/Colts As to who to pull for....that's a toss-up. N.O. pulls on the heartstrings of the "Cinderella Team" (just like the 2001 Pats for most people) moniker but Indy has worked hard and has been denied so many times that it is hard to NOT pull for the underdog, here. (Tell me that most people did not like it when Elway and Favre got their first SB ring no matter what team you pull for. I know I was happy for both)

GO PATRIOTS, GO BRADY, GO BRUSCHI, GO VRABEL!!! GO TO THE SB XLI!!

    *** yawn ***

That would be "we" referring to "Patriot-Nation".... sorry if you don't like my use of the word.

Pats getting blown off the RCA field... please.. since the beginning of the Brady-era we've had to play there twice and won both times:

11/30/03 - 38 Pats 34 Indy (close in that game, but close doesn't count in Football)
    10/21/01 - 38 Pats 17 Indy

    I guess noise wasn't really a factor. ;)

Not that I have taken the field or ice or court to help any of MY teams, but if it wasn't for me and other fans like me who pull for OUR teams, said teams wouldn't exist. Because with out the fans there wouldn't be a team, so rightfully it should be we won, because we as fans are supporting our favored team who happens to win.

Or maybe it bothers you because you aren't as enthousiastic about your team as others are of theirs.......who honestly knows.

I found this and copied it out of an article ...

"...Chargers front office representatives met last week with city officials in San Diego to plan the logistics of their victory parade after the Super Bowl. Memo to the Chargers: There's no parade for one and done...."
