Last night I made a delicious white ziti and sausage dish. It included motz, parm and cottage cheese, eggs, flour, milk and butter, plus seasonings, ziti and the sausage. Got the recipe from cooks.com. Added a small salad and garlic bread...what a hit! Many family members had leftovers last night and I can't wait to have a bit for lunch. Tonight's menu is a simple yet always well received dish. Pace your chicken cutlets in a single layer in a baking pan. Top the chicken with condensed cream of mushroom soup Top with a single layer of swiss cheese Sprinkle seasoned bread crumbs to cover Add pats of butter all around on top then sprinkle with paprika Bake a 350 for about 40 minutes. Yum, yum!!!
I made baked Ziti this weekend. Last night I really didn't have to cook. I put a pot roast, red taters, onions, carrots and a nice special sauce in the slow cooker when I left for work. All I had to make was some rice to go along with it when I got home. As soon as it gets a little cooler I'm going to make some of my chili. I usually have to invite several sets of friends over, because they all love it. Tonight-we'll I've been craving Mexican, so I'm making taco's, spanish rice and beans (easy dinner).
SB- will you share your special sauce ingredients? When I use the crockpot, it tends to be with either beef or chicken broth and it's getting a bit boring. Your special sauce grabbed my attention. Please share!! :allears:
LMAO...the special sauce I use is McCormick Beef Stew Seasoning Mix and water...it makes the meat so tender and a great taste!
Thanks! I'll have to pick some up for next time and give it a try. So simple, why not? I do add seasonings to my broths, but they are getting so boring!
