I am having to use my 7year old Dell laptop until I decide what to do with my Dell pc. I upgraded the OS from XP home to 7 pro about a year and a half ago and really only used it about twice since then. It only has one gig of ram in it and the physical memory usage is up around 75%. Nothing I am finding online is helping me to get the memory usage down. Any suggestions about that and where to get a power supply for the pc. Also the laptop is a Dell Inspirion 9300 with two memory slots. Any ideas off hand how much memory I can upgrade it to? I will probably research that part later on. Just figure if anyone knew off hand

    thanks

I do plan on doing that but also both IE and Firefox are both using an absorbanent amount of memory. With firefox one thing they suggested was to run it in safe mode so it disables the add on's but it still runs high. And not sure what do to with IE using so much memory. They are both using up over 116,000 of memory
