I had lots. Both walking and the loads from outside. I moved everything to the end of the driveway to save the kids a little walking. That was fun. Candy for the kids, beer for the grown ups. But I had to leave during prime trick or treating to meet the wrecker driver at my truck because it died on the way to the dump Saturday Morning. :banghead::banghead::banghead:
We had a LOAD of kids!! I had a huge wicker pumpkin FULL of candy and we had to close up shop at 8:10 because we were out!! Saw some adorable kids and didn't mind the outsiders because we live in the country with a lot of houses not in subdivisons nearby. It was great fun!
All I know is Broadmoor was a mad house. Was invited to our usual Halloween party with our friends and then trick or treating. WoW! I could not believe the loads of cars parked at the club house from other places and kids everywhere.
we had lots - went through 8 big bowls of candy and had a blast and i do not mind the "outsiders" coming to our neighborhood, our here in JoCo some neighborhoods are not good for trick or treating due to being so spread out, i love that people feel our neighborhood is a safe and fun place to bring their kids:hurray:
We had a very similar experience and I don't mind the outsiders either. I just wish that the trick or treating would not start until it is dark. We started getting people at 5PM.
