You are both using libel in the wrong context. Libel (at least around here) is to be used as follows:

"If he don't stop hijackin my thread, I'm libel to open up a can of whoop a** on 'em."

I'm "libel" to get a tongue lashing in here but I find it absurd to poke fun at someone with the apparent inability to express his or her view verbally. If the story is true or not, I think we all know that this type of transaction goes on every day. At what point as a society do we stop excusing these types of actions and step up to the morality bar? Using excuses like, "A sucker is born every day." does not add any validity to the crooked and immoral nature of some businesses. I’m just glad I’m on the downhill side of life in this society. If it gets anymore self-centered, crooked or immoral, in the name of profit, I don’t think I want to live here much longer.
