I think this went to far

    The reason that I asked was because my daughter is always asking to be left in the car to well either read or do homework..or just play her gameboy..she is soon to be 8. I have done it a few times lately, but never felt good about it.
    I have seen others leave theirs in the car that are younger then her..
    Heck even at the age of 8 people are letting their kids stay in the house alone!

    my girls are 18 and 20 and i still refuse to let them sit in the car when i go in somewhere.

    Well, thank heavens! What a waste of public resources. She should have gotten a talking to and left it at that. Rediculous!

    :hurray: I'm so glad for her. But you know her kids still witnessed their mom being handcuffed and stuff - just awful over something SO stupid.
