See I reference attitude here. The goods may rock, but how many will never step in the place because of one night on here?

 

Certainly not me in either of these so called businesses! Don't care if what they offer is free, I'll never support a local business who has rude management. That's a shame because I like supporting our local businesses, but it's their loss and I'm sure I'm not the only one they've offended with their childish remarks.

 

There's another thread about the shootings in Virginia, that would have been the appropriate place to ask about that.

Let me guess the scenario there: Desserted was so excited and impressed about the business he got from Hught's thread and others here, he told you and the pawn shop owner how great it was, and you all decided it would be a good way to build your businesses. The big mistake all of you made was trying to put one over on us. We did not all just fall off the turnip truck.

Desserted mentioned that some people had complained about him advertising on the forum, and I suggested to him that acting like part of the community, posting on other subjects and just talking about your business if the someone else brings it up, would be a good way to get past that. Apparently he misconstrued my meaning, didn't listen, or didn't think I knew what I was talking about.

If any of you are interested in making amends, I suggest you hang around the forums and join in the conversation in appropriate ways. There may be forums that are intended for exchanging information about what's for sale and promoting your own business, but this is not one of them.
