Its been so hot and dry around here...I caught a catfish this afternoon and had to check him for ticks before I could skin him.

Normally I am freezing in the office, today I didn't complain at all! Think me and the girl are going to go in the pool for a while too. No beer here, just a big ole glass of ice tea!! Also, for me, cold cereal for dinner. Too hot to cook anything!

Just got out of my pool and it felt awesome.. I love this hot weather.. not to work in, but to play and garden in.....Nothing like doing yard work and then jumping in the pool......I am a hot weather person, not a cold weather person... anything below 70 is too cold for me.. bbbrrrrr.....

It is 105 at my house right now. I was in Raleigh this afternoon. Temp at 4:00 was hovering at 110/111 ... in Garner it was 108.

My pool water is at 92 degrees:shock: Jumping in doesn't do a whole lot to cool ya off at this point - thinking about draining it down a bit and adding colder water or either throwing the fountain in it to cool it down. In the 5 years or so i have had this pool, it has never gotten that hot. My DH is calling it our giant hot tub right about now:lol:

Working as USPS rural mail carrier, boy, it was very dreadful HOT today!!! I feel like I'm being baked in an oven! First time I've seen myself drinking more than a gallon of water. My hubby teased me by telling me not to come home with a stinky body.

I was in Romania a couple of weeks ago with temps ranging from 110 - 118 and it felt NOTHING like this. This is shear torture weather!

I am so sorry ya'll have such terrible heat. I will share with you that I have clear blue skies, and it's 79 degrees today up at 10,200 feet. Which by the way is a heat wave.

The temp here is very similar to Las Vegas that I was there years ago. The only difference is their air were dry and no humid.

I was in Death Valley and it was way worse. The temp was 125*. It's no wonder why Star Wars cast members fell into heat exhaustion while filming there.
