It wasn't hard, I'm kinda quick like that. :lol: It was the absolute horror of the thought (although I am sure the feeling is mutual). :ack:

 

Only 5 days notice??? Wow. Think some people need to work some jobs where you're looking to get 5 hours notice that you're going to work overtime, or you're called in at 4am on your off day to be there at 5:45am.

Amazing with all the unemployment and bad economy how so many people are still spending money on spring vacations and renting facilities for birthday parties. The recession must be over!!!!!!



Guess I know why children whine so much now, they learn well from their parents.

 

Left out "health". One mental health day. I need one after talking to you sometimes.

Stopped saying "daughter" when Sting6 decided to tell me where she was going to be that day and what she was doing. I got more distant about it. That was the same time he did the same to a few other members. He actually went farther with our family but I think she can take him now after reading recent postings.

People that go to work can take care of themselves. Kids depend on their parents so it affects two parties.

JCS website says 2 hour delay tomorrow morning.

 

That makes more sense. This stuff will freeze again overnight, but the forecast for tomorrow is sunny and 51.

 

Automated message we just got said 2 hr. delay also.

 

Yeah, and parents working at the Department of Correction are called in on their work days with less than 2 hours notice and have to make arrangements for babysitters, getting kids to school, etc. So kids are affective then also.


If you can't adjust with a 5 day notice, you're whining.
