Did you see the sign? Now it says it will be a storage facility? Well dang, which is it I wonder?

Have you heard anything else about this?

 

No Jennifer, the storage facility is on the corner facing Cleveland School - where they want to put the car repair shop/car wash is on the lot between the daycare center and the big white house facing South Shiloh right across from my neighborhood. BTW, the petitions are ready if you want to still circulate through your area and anyone else willing to help in their area would be great. i will have a copy here at the office too if you want to stop by and sign. Thanks for everyone's help:-D

It actually includes anyone in the Cleveland Community so yeah you are included:-D i'll keep a copy in my car too so if i run into any of you guys out and about i would be more than happy to get your signature.:-D

 

Just bumping this up to let you guys know we have to go before the Commissioners on Monday for the final fight. We are having a neighborhood meeting on Friday to make sure all our ducks are in order and plan on showing up in full force again.

What i can't figure is why would anyone pursue putting a business in a residential area where he is not wanted? Doesn't he think that making the locals mad may be bad for business even if he did win and especially since he is new to the area it is not like he is going to have a devoted following to frequent his place:?

Anyway, wish us luck, it is time the people are listened to.

Hey folks, for those of you that have not had a chance to sign the petition, there is now an online site to do so. If you can, i would really appreciate as many signatures as possible and even though you do have to put your name and address, there are so many people we are asking to sign online, no one will know who you are.

We really need your help here and if you live in JoCo, your signature will count, if we don't stand up now to stop the encrouchment of commercial into residential, it will eventually affect us all.

Kaci, do you think they will check the names and addresses against the voter registration records, and only count JoCo registered voters? I noticed several people did not give their addresses, and there's not really a place for it, so I just put mine on the same line as my name.

 

Yeah i know, i did not have anything to do with the website, someone else in the neighborhood did it and when i looked at it i made the comment that addresses needed to be added for the names to count. So if ya sign it, please put your address beside your name.

 

Bumping this up for you Mon-Fri folks - gotta print out the petition around 4:00 today to take to the meeting tonite - would really appreciate as many JoCo signatures as possible - Thanks so much guys:-D
