I spoke with her yesterday, she is trying hard to be a good patient, but has been told to remain imobile for a week! Otherwise I think she is doing okay!
A WEEK? I would go bonkers immobile for a week, geesh, look how I took an hour and a half! Best wishes Kaci, drink up - just pick a spot near the little girl's room!

Thanks everyone, so miss you all. Stole my son's laptop for a few minutes so i could get on for a bit, no way i am gonna catch up on a week worth of posting though. Yeah, broke the ankle bone and the bone running down the side of my foot - i am going crazy stuck on this friggin sofa with no access to the internet and having to ask for everything. So much stuff i need to do and can't do it :evil: i am a terrible patient, i am so used to taking care of everyone else and hate to ask for everyone to take care of me. DH keeps reminding me that if i had only asked for their help in the first place i wouldn't be where i am right now. Hopefully by Monday, i will be able to move around a bit and try to get back to work - Doc says i have about 10 weeks of this crap to look forward to. Luckily it is the left foot and not summer, so there is a bright side to everything If any of you guys got some extra tiime and want to take care of my yard for the fall, that would be cool - j/k :lol: Take care all and thank you all again for the well wishes - miss ya all
Hey, Kaci, good to hear from you. Do you have leaves to rake? My brother & I will be glad to rake your leaves for our compost heap! Seriously! Let me know. and take care of yourself. I broke my ankle several years ago, and it was no fun, so you have my sympathy.
Thanks so much Grandma. Sorry,not many leaves as of yet - we live in a relatively new subdivision, have planted trees but not big enough yet to shed enough leaves worth raking for compost. Got a lot of perinneals that need cutting back for the winter - would they be of any help for compost?
Glad to see you back, even if temporarily!! I hope you are up and about soon! Tell hubby to figure out a way to get you a computer while you recoup... it will help pass the time. Let me know if there is anything we can do. (besides yard work!)

LMAO, i am so friggin picky about gifts for people - wish i could let someone do my shopping but ain't never gonna happen. Guess i will be doing more online shopping this year :lol:
