*warning, possible hijack attempt* I still don't get why there are two sides. Do posters in the neighborhood really feel that more protected than on the other side? It doesn't take much to register and you must register if you ever want to add your 2 cents on either side... so why not make it all one board? Is one side read more than the other? I often wonder why certain things are posted on one side versus the other. Family oriented on discussion board? So, neighborhood is more of a "no holds barred" within 4042 guidelines? Ready to be enlightened. :lol:
But really, how many never go to the dark side? :lol: I bet almost every person signing on to this site reads both sides.
You may lose that bet... some are smart enough to avoid the BS on the other side. unless you want some laughs. There is good and bad on that side.
Kimmie - I don't know if anyone is really protected, like you say, it's easy to register and anyone can read it then. It just seems like people who post (that know the difference) post the more controversial stuff on the "dark" side, and the regular, every day, lighter stuff on this side. I read both sides, but enjoy this side more, as I don't get into all the political stuff, and that seems to be what almost all of it is anymore, nothing very interesting if you ask me. It always seems to be the same people, in fact, there is one person in particular that is very annoying and wish would disappear! (Not anyone that comes on this side, seems to be someone that likes to start arguments on that side only)
For whatever reason not everyone got a letter. I was an active member at the time all this happened (it was a sudden move, not really planned from what I understand) and I didn't get a letter.
Hijack over. =) I like the owner, but she's often given me the impression she's a little unorganized. I imagine her whirlwind move made it even more difficult to keep everything in order. It doesn't surprise me that some members didn't receive a letter.
I will stick to this side , I found the local section to be more ready to pounce and rip ya apart, got a few PM's telling me generaly this place is "safer" from the hmmmmmm "not as nice" folks. My first post to the local section was so bad i asked it to be removed...nough said.
