For the more open minded women you could always look into Wicked Weasel swimsuits.

I know SS wouldn't mind looking at a woman wearing one.

Yep, just a suit (or two) to wear to the pool with my kiddos all summer long.

    Found one

I went to Southpoint yesterday (with DH and the kiddos in tow). That in itself was a challenging experience for DH.

Anyhow, I found a suit at Sears, just what I was looking for. I wanted a 2 piece, but I wanted the top a tankini style with sep bottoms. When I showed everyone the suit, I then told DH it was 50% off. DS (who is almost 8) asked what 50% off meant. I told him it was half price. Somehow in his little brain there was a mis-connection, and he asked me what part of the suit I was going to buy, the bottom or the top. I just looked at him and asked him well which part should I buy to wear to the pool...and then he got it and started giggling at how silly his statement was. I heard 8 is a good age range, where they start to get things. I'm looking forward to this :)

I ordered 3 of the tankini style suits from Lands End this year for the first time and love them. All the suits are mix n match with different style bottoms and tops. The Sears stores, especially at Triangle Towne, carry most of the styles now so you can go in and try them on. If they don't have the color you want, you can order it in the store for FREE and it ships to your house 2nd day air. ALso, if you order something from the magazine or online and it doesn't fit, you can return it to a Sears store and not have to pay return shipping. Compared to the department stores, I find these suits better made and better priced. A lot of the ones in stores now just seem soo thin to me and I need things to be "held" in place8)

I was just thinking Lands End myself. They have some wonderful suits. We have never gone wrong ordering anything from them.

Now, that is a funny story. Yep, 8 is a great age!
