Lost children's parents speak about the driver...

    I'm blown away about the reaction that the parents had. I certainly know if that had happened in my area of town, the parents would have been at an attorney's office within an hour of the funeral (if not sooner).

    I know that I can be paranoid in the parking lot when it comes to my child. But I know how poorly people drive in the area (pedestrian = the other white meat). When my daughter was younger and needed help getting into the car (ages 3-5), I'd tell her to have at least one hand on the car. That way I knew she was right there while I dealt with getting things out and whatnot.
