I've heard of a Chicken Man before. I think I found his website: www.chickenmanusa.com. Those really fluffy types of chickens my FIL has attempted to raise before. Attempted in that a red-tailed hawk picked off either the male or female of the pair. Several years ago, Burger King had a site called the subservient chicken and its a bit unusual and borderline disturbing. Make the chicken man do what you tell him in his living room. www.bk.com/en/us/campaigns/subservient-chicken.html
I am a former Lowes employee of five years as a manager. Lowes has a corporate policy of no animals except for service animals allowed in the stores. However, as a traveling manager I never saw any store that enforced it.
I have a winnie dog which I dearly love but I do not carry him to stores, diners, etc for the simple reason he needs to stay where he is in a balanced, safe environment. Too many crazy folks at Walmart.
Actually, Home Depot is not dog friendly. At least, not the one I went into once on Capital Blvd in Raleigh with my daughter and her SD. The guy at the door was like "You're not allowed to bring that dog in here." and I was like "She's a Service Dog, unless she is creating a nuisance, she has the privilege to be here working just as much as you have the privilege to do your job without violating my daughter's rights." I don't mind dog's going to hardware stores. I mean, if you're allergic, fine I'm pretty sure we can avoid each other pretty well. If you're scared, you can stay away from me too. I will say this though, I don't like to see 1 person handling more than 1 dog at a time in that environment. The dog needs to be well under control too. I don't want to see the dog sitting in the baby seat either though, then again, even without dog's there peeing and pooping and spreading worms. Think of all the children's butts that have done that there. Your child is at risk sitting there anyway. It's called life, just live it. Perhaps I'm a little jaded from working with a SD for so long, but when it comes to pet dogs, the store has the right to decide what it will and won't allow. If you can't control your dog, even as an SD, you can be asked to leave. The same is true with your unruly mini poodle.
Wish they'd do more about the unruly children while their at it. The running around, playing on the lawnmowers and lets not forget the ear piercing screams some of them let out. I came around a corner at BJ's and plowed into two kids that I'd seen running up and down the lanes, my response was "excuse YOU" right in front of mom and dad (get a hint parents) and get control of the rugrats.
