NY9 was booted out of NY because he fits their generalization of a northern redneck, therefore he was kicked out, no longer to return to the mother land. Here he sits with his bruised ego and his own personal generalization of the term "Redneck" and attaches it to everyone that lives in the south. Poor little boy.:nopity: Nobody likey him in the big state of NY because he's a yankee redneck. I'm sure that most people would consider you a northern redneck. Its all in the eye of the beholder and one just has to wonder what keeps you here, other than your not wanted back home. So sad.:nopity: Why don't you enlighten everyone as to way your still here. Most everyone I know from NY is here because they can live a better life style than in NY, score one for the south. More job opportunities from what I hear, score another for the south. In-state tuition is cheaper (and this is a big one, that's why we have so many out-of-state students because they get a great education at outstanding universities for a fraction of the cost), another score for the south. They hated the cold winters, another score. And the list goes on. So just why are there so many New Yorkers here if the state is full of rednecks, according to you and cookieforme? And why or why do you stay?

The picture depicted a common occurrence for this region. That's not saying the people are bad because of it? But everyone just jumped to that assumption to enhance the drama so they can "fight about it".

If you were any more stupid, you'd have to be watered twice a week.
If I throw a stick, will you leave?

That is "common". Funny because I have yet to see such a scene.
