I kinda have to agree with Grinder on this. I like Kiss, always have, but the lyrics are far from something that The Temptations did or even Earth, Wind and Fire. I think Gene Simmons and Kiss are getting a lot of publicity now cause of the TV show (which I watch) for the younger crowd. I guess it is cool now to be "married" to a playmate.

KISS is the one show I worked security for that I found out that all the stuff you think just happens in the movies and TV really happens. Let's just say there was a lot of "plastic" in the front row.

Everytime the word hammer (as in the tool) comes up here at work (as in, can you please hand me that hammer), we all break out with "Can't stop! Hammer time!". His influence on that generation will be felt for a long time to come, Even as corny as he seems now.

Yeah, he was pretty religious back in his heyday. He had that one song "we have to pray just to make it today." How he did that song about bumps in the trunk or something like that, I dont know. Trying to be a gangsta rapper :p

Seemed so cool back then with his shinny, gold, puffy pants and such. Now you see those old videos and just like my high school photos, I say, "man, thats corny".

What no Maiden?.......how can you leave out Iron Maiden.

As for a Hammer concert. Went to car stereo show way back when in Norfolk, and it was being held in the same venue as a Hammer concert. Hammer came out to Can't Touch This being really loud and one of the car show guys just cranked his stereo up and drowned poor Hammer out.

I agree, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Kiss should be in way, way, before Run DMC! What the heck is Madonna doing on that list before these three?

    Stupid people,
