YAY Niko! What was not posted was that Niko's mom had just died and his daddy had left him with a caregiver to go up north to be with family and to bury his wife. Poor Niko must have been so traumatized with all that was going on! Glad to know he is back safe with his Dad!
I worry when I leave my mini-aussie (or travel with him) that he's going to come look for me if he gets out. We (the dog and I) recently drove to St.Louis to visit my family and when I'd go out and leave him at my parents' house, I had to warn them to make sure he stayed on a leash when outside, and to watch the doors when they opened them because he'd slip out and come looking for me. When I'm around, he's fine and won't run off (or won't go far). When I'm not around, he worries. Poor Niko wanted to go find his family! My sympathies to Niko's Dad on his great loss ... but happiness that at least he has Niko back to share it with.
