I told my husband that we needed to get this done. I don't know how they do it, but it seems they are constantly loosing their name tags that has all our information on it. The rings are still there, but the tags are gone.

The lady at the shelter told me that they always get a lot of animals in when there are big storms, so that will explain the flyers, I am sure. Usually when there are storms, we have the dogs inside and when we leave, we put them on the back porch, but my son was home alone and blaring his music and didn't think about them being outside and getting out until he went to let them in when he was getting ready to leave to go to work.

Sometimes these guys are a pain in the tush and the shedding gets on my nerves, but would not trade them for the world. They are a part of our family.

Like I had said, we so appreciate all the help, thoughts and concerns.

I've had the same issue with my dogs and their tags. We've decided to go with the type of collar with a name plate directly on it or the personalized Dura-Ruff with the information sewn directly into the collar, seen in Drs. Foster and Smith catalog. As far as the rabies tags, their in a safe place in the home.
