Theres lots of doo-hickeys in my little world, and they are usually near the thingamajigs and thingamabobs. :jester:
Just a small thought on this......whether one has to read cursive in today's world is irrelevant to me. Think about when a person gets a job and might have to read some of the signatures they receive in cursive. I could go on and on but this is just one small side I see. Sherry
I think it is sad that kids are not learning cursive anymore, but it is not an essential part of our world today IMO. My older two (7th & 4th) were not really taught it in school, it was more a side thing that they did on their own. As long as they can read and write, I think it is more important for their generation to be keyboard literate.
Agreed, I already have a nice thick workbook. Thing I is learning cursive in school right now, she loves it and is always trying it on her own. I think Hat is on to something though... if you can't read the Constitution how do you know what is in it? Duh duh duhhhhhhhhhhhhh......
