Folks, I dont have a solder gun. And I'd probably do more damage with one and the sensitive job to be done. I have, for lack of better wording, a bad solder in a connection on my vehicle instrument cluster. This causes the odometer and dash instrument cluster to occasionally work right, usually dim and barely readable. The help page online indicates the joint is a 'cold solder' and over the years, with it being a crappy job done initially, and years of movement and use, it makes darned little of the connection it is supposed to . Who out here has got a solder gun and expertise to solder the darned thing and not melt the circuit board, so once again, we may have light. Feel free to PM or answer here.
