I am having a problem with a networked computer at home. I called a person to install the network and he installed wireless cards on my network. The network is working properly but one computer is really slow. The other computer works great. I have ran Norton and spybot and nothing is working. The computer that is now very slow was working great when he installed the network. Any suggestions?
I am running Windows XP on both machines. I am not sure what the firewall setup is. I am using this as a user workstation.
I have a router setup on the network. I have already ran spybot. This is a fairly new machine so I am pretty sure that it is running SP2. I have not checked the VM or Task manager so I will check this afternoon. Thank you for all of your help and I will let you know how it goes.
