We dined at Clayton Steakhouse last night. All of us ordered steak. Opinions were the 8 oz. steak was thin so it is difficult to get a medium rare steak. Only steak served is a rib eye so to get the smaller size it has to be cut thin. We would suggest a larger cut. The 12 oz. was very tender and great taste and cooked just right. The salad bar was good but had a line most of the time we were there. Our waitress was great. Michael, the owner and chef, came out and visited with diners and asked if everything was OK. All tables were taken by about 6:15 pm. Cozy bar. It was great to see a lot of Clayton folks there. Clayton Steakhouse is a great addition to downtown Clayton. If a senior be sure to ask for the 15% discount "food only".
Wife invited me to lunch today at the Clayton Steakhouse (yes, as you figured I have been working from home the last couple of days). Tried the Ribeye sandwich :drool:
