https://enr.ncsbe.gov/voter_search_public/ You can look up your polling location there. It may be different today for the Primary than your normal location. It was for me at least.
When you vote today, you may encounter instances of improper procedure at your polling site. Worse, you may also encounter people outside the polling site deliberately trying to mislead voters - which is illegal. Write down the following phone numbers and keep them handy. If you have difficulty voting, or if you encounter suspicious activity, write down everything you can remember about the encounter, then make the call: NC Election Protection hotline: 1-888-OUR-VOTE (888-687-8683); NC State Board of Elections hotline: 1-866-522-4723
Maybe I'm luck, or don't know what to look for but I've been voting since 1982 and other than the stupid signs posted right up to the sign saying no more signs, I've never even seen a candidates rep at the polls, or anyone asking questions. Of course I'm usually there at 6:30.
At 7am there were like 20-30 people standing around the parking lot handing out things and holding signs at the Clayton Church on 70. I just took a longer walk around them to avoid them. One guy was starting to walk towards my car already when I pulled in, but I got out fast and went the other way to avoid him.
I usually run into a few people still passing out items and campaigning when I go to vote. Hillary Clinton was in Raleigh today at one site shaking hands and asking for votes. Whether you like her or not I think that's pretty cool. Sherry
