Will you guys please be kind enough to send me information reguarding the WRAL story. I would most definately love to defend it as a parent. You know how news stories are, there always has to be 2 sides to a story. Although, it is foolish on your parts, I wish all of you luck in finding a conclusion to this subject.
THERES NOT A STORY ON WRAL, SHE JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF ANYONE WOULD BE WILLING TO INTERVIEW IT, SHE WANTED A PARENT AND I AM NOT A PARENT JUST GO TO WRAL.COM AND EMAIL MONICA LALIBERTE
ok I know this subject is worn out, but I heard that Magoos has closed down and I was thinking that this Teen Club was in the same building?? Anyone heard why they closed???
Not sure it's ill fated, just mis-managed in every venture that has gone into the place. And the lease rate is a bit over priced as well. First thing that needs to be installed in that location is a POS system, if it is going to continue to be a resturant/bar. Craig
WOW, what I learned This is my first post on here. I have been reading up on this so-called Teen Night. I wish I would have read it earlier before we made the decision to host this event. Although we only did it once, at the beginning of the summer, I can guarentee it will never happen again. We had an agreement with the gentleman who puts it on, and it was not held up, at all. He assured us it was a "christian, innocent event for teenagers to have fun" Matter of fact it was the exact opposite. There was a fight, kids drinking and smoking in the parking lot, the list goes on. I am 26 years old, not a parent, and I was ashamed and embarrassed of what I saw. It was not that long ago I was a teenager, no wonder my parents never let me go to something like that. At the time, I hated them for it, but no as I have matured  I realized why. Isn't it amazing what you learn latter about what your parents say and why, and how much more you respect it now. I commend and stand behind all you parents who put the foot down on this activity. I sincerely apologize to all parents and their teenagers. Had we known what we know now, it would have never taking place at our establishment.
Yet Magoo's still continues to have them, even had one last week if I'm not mistaken. Wife and I were down at La Cocina for supper and when we were leaving there was a line of young hoochies in their booty shorts just standing outside waiting for the doors to open, With the big Underage banner hanging over the door.
