No mention of D-Day today?

I am glad someone remembered DDay..I was thinking about it this morning. My father was one of the soldiers that participated in that horrendous day. I can't imagine the fear and anguish he must have witnessed. He was one of the lucky ones that day, no injury and he eventually made it home.
