    I'd whoop my child all the way from clayton to raleigh and back if they came home with a piercing/tatoo/etc.... :twisted:

    I think most parents feel the same way as you guys. I find it hard to believe that "almost all" of the girls have these piercings at West, mainly because I was a teacher there and all of the teachers I know who are still there have not noticed a drastic increase in facial piercings. They say they've noticed a few girls with them, but definitely not a majority of them.

    ummm, my kids are 15, and if you are/were a teacher there, you know how dramatic they can be (meaning "almost all" can mean 6 or 26 :rolleyes:). But just for the record, I worked the concession stand at Friday nights football game, and there were quite a few nose piercings. But maybe they didn't go to West....

    That's what I was getting at...that it was probably an exaggeration on the kids part. They do know how to dramatize just about anything!
