That's because his girlfriend, also the mother of his kids, is a French model and lives there. He went there before Bush was in office.
It about killed me to push that MccAin button. It sure would be nice to not chopse the lesser of 2-3 evils. McCain Feingold did it for me. I still think it violates the 1st amendment. He is weak on illegal immigration, and I don't think he would rein in spending. But still better than either Democrat. That has nothing to do with race or sex, but policy.
Depends on how Hillary does tonight, if she blows it out I will vote for her, if its close or Obama wins I will vote for him. and my option of H or O over McCain was not available.
We all know this board is mostly Republican but if you take the 2 voting choices against McCain and add the undecided (of whom many are waiting to see what happens in the next few weeks), there really is not that big of a gap.
Bump, i noticed more people have voted since last night, just thought i would put it back up for anyone else, seems pretty tight huh?
Clif, I think this is an interesting statement considering how the poll was framed. Democrats had a choice yet the only option for Republicans was 'McCain no matter what'. Hmmm...
Sorry Harvey, did not mean to give that impression. i posted that way since obviously McCain already has the nomination for the Republicans - i was really trying to get a read on what folks thought about the choice between the Dems and if it made a difference against McCain if one or the other gets the nomination - guess i am just not too poll literate
How about we do another poll with choices like this: 1. I support Clinton, but if she loses I will vote for Obama. 2. I support Clinton, but if she loses I will vote for McCain. 3. I support Clinton, but if she loses I will vote for a 3rd party or write-in candidate, or not vote. 4. I support Obama, but if he loses I will vote for Clinton. 5. I support Obama, but if he loses I will vote for McCain. 6. I support Obama, but if he loses I will vote for a 3rd party or write-in candidate, or not vote. 7. I support McCain. 8. I support Ron Paul. 9. I support Ralph Nader. 10. Other. How many choices can you have in a poll? Do you think the choices above will give the information you were looking for? Assuming "I support" means "I will vote for this person if he/she is on the ballot, no matter who else may or may not be on the ballot."
What other choice is there for Republicans? Rhetorical question, there is none. McCain already has enough delegates to win the primary.
