Apparently so, if you insist on making things simple enough for you to understand. In the real world, though, when the federal government decided to fine the tobacco industries, the cost of cigarettes went up 50ยข literally overnight.
The probl;em seems to be that you think that companies charge the maximum they possibly can for their goods and/or services. In fact there is a built in cushion that will allow for an increase in charges should future events warrant (such as an increase in taxes). Y'all really shouldn't have cut economics in high school, you would have learned this.
Probably not. I, for one, was hoping John McCain would show becuase I felt he would have his hat handed to him by Obama. Well it was not quite as one sided as I thought, but my point is that with my expectations I would have been seriously dissapointed in Obama if he tried to pull a stunt like this. I think the future president needs to be able to address more than one task at once. What will McCain do when he has his first big crisis...suspend the presidency for a bit while he gets his poop in a group?
Well, I for one happen to think that the economic issues were FAR more important than a single debate that could be postponed till a little later. I'm quite certain McCain is capable of multi-tasking, however we all know that you get better results if you focus on the job at hand.
No one is capable of multi-tasking. Multi-tasking is a word made up by managers to try and get more work out of their employees.
