I agree. She is very petite. I don't think she'll be over 6-7 lbs full grown. I can tell Orbie has been around people, but shes been scrounging for a good while.
I hope she isn't preggo then cause I know my cat got preggo very young and 3 of the babies died and the other one is the male cat that I have now. Cost me over 500 bucks to save her life and the babies life. Vet said it was more of the reason of her being so young. No chance of that happening again. (she had appt to get fixed and old roommate let her outside when I was out of town) I really do hope all works out with her! Keep us posted on the outcome! Sheri
Same thing with the cat in my avatar. She got pregnant before the "friend" I gave her to originally (she came off my aunt's dairy farm) got her fixed. She was less than 6 months old, all the kittens died and this cat very nearly died too in my opinion. I think she just gave up, she wouldn't clean herself, eat, nothing. I took one look at her poor filthy, half-starved, not to mention flea and tick infestested self and brought her home with me. Spent major $$ at the vet getting her straightened out, and now she is the absolute sweetest, most loving cat I have ever been around. Don't know what I would do without her. She had a tough life to begin with, her own mother didn't have any milk and she had been bottle fed to even keep her alive to start with. She deserves to be spoiled rotten at my house!
Orbie moved in with her new family this evening. She was very happy! She just purred and purred. I was surprised at how well she took to everything... a very rambunctious 4yo didn't even startle her. If things don't work out, I've agreed to take Orbie back. I'll keep ya'all posted! Thanks so much.
