    Microwave OKRA!!!!

A simple as making ICE Cubes! heheheee!!! + FAST too!

I use just the smaller one, pinky finger sized. Put in corning wear type glass dish w/ lid, cover 1/3 with water, add Crazy Jane's seasoning or Mrs. Dash (No salt) to taste.

    Zap 3-4-5 min's till tender.

I do not zap them till they are SLICK, we like them to be solid and hold their shape not SLIMY at ALL!

    Mmmmm!!! DS loves them!

my poor wife, whose mama is a yankee through no fault of her own, was taught that corn and butterbeans was succotash. no, i told her, that's butterbeans and corn. succotash has tomatoes and okra in it. her mama still won't accept it...

My Mom was born and raised in Louisiana (farther south than NORTH Carolina) and she cooked succotash once a month (it is my favourite vegatable dish). When she did it was Lima beans and corn only.

Just so you know, butter beans are a type of Lima bean.
