Body carvings Body carving is something that has surfaced and I'm not sure how big a wave it will make. The info/pics that have been circulating among my peers shows a young woman getting what looks like a very large tattoo on her back. But instead of inking the design in, someone takes a scalpel and cuts the design out of her back, in effect skinning that portion on her back. The resultant healing of this "procedure" if you will, I call it mutilation, leaves the healed skin a different color and thus makes the design. Of course, this is done in probably less than pristine surroundings, so the change of infection is probably great. Thought I'd pass this along.
I think it's called "scarification" I've seen some shows on Discovery/TLC regarding. Some indigenous (sp?) people do it. But for someone in the US to do it....................EWWW!!!
Yeah, this 'tramp' is in a committed marriage and has a small child. Some people like tats because they are beautiful works of art, not because they wish to make a statement to someone about their (lack of) promiscuity. Again, don't be so quick to judge (and so rude).
I have one on my lower back and one on my stomach. And no I'm not a tramp, I'm happily married with 3 kids. Oh, I also have my belly button pierced, but don't worry, I don't flaunt them. You can only see them when I'm in a bathing suit.
Ahhh. But that's what I do. I am sure the other guys who see your tat outside of your commited relationship considers it a tramp stamp as well.
I've seen pics of the "procedure", it is so gross... I can't even tell y'all..it was just about more than I could stand to see. DH had forwarded me an email a while back with pics....
Well, I want a tramp stamp, but nobody will see it but my DH. I'm not the type of person to wear stuff where you could see it. I want it to symbolize my children, and figured that spot is one that will always be hid when I am wearing clothing!
One of the themes I am planning is around my boys. I am going to have a Celtic Cross with their names in it. Somehow. Amidst a dragon, vines, and a few coy fish.
In my opinion the only thing wrong with getting one on your lower back to symbolize your kids is the mood killer it would cause. I know that when my huby and are "in the moment" the last thing you want to be thinking about are the kids and if it's right there......well, that's just my opinion!
