For those of you who are so insistant that it was a scanner, why do you refuse to accept the possibility that the media was tipped off? It certainy wouldn't be the first time, nor would it be the last. The media are tipped off a lot. It makes good public relations. Shows the cops are doing their job.
not refusing just saying its not all about a consiperacy theory, there is always more than one way to get info
but you know if you are going to tip off a station why just one and why such a small one, wouldnt you get a big dog unstead of a puppy?
they might have been tipped off. anything is possible. if i were the sherrif, i'd want people to know i was out there trying to kick *** as often as possible. and as for his style, they said the same thing about joe arpaio in arizona.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Arpaio but i can tell you from personal experience that they very well might have heard it on the scanner. wptf and triangle traffic, both of whom i work for, have multiple scanners running at all times. you'd be surprised how much detailed info you can get from them in real time. in this case, there was probably plenty of discussion as to how to execute this one. this arrest was in tandem with 8 other arrests, probably several of which were done before her. so you hear the sherrif's office riding around and picking these people up and suddenly you hear them say they're headed to polenta school next, and you're responsible so you go. the one thing i haven't seen is credt for the photo. was it a regular joe or someone with media credentials?
was there any video of her being led into court or into the jailhouse from cars? usually by then the tv guys would be on it, but not for the initial arrest necessarily
stop all this yelling you are giving me a headache ... - dumb womanbuying stuff to make meth.....and a teacher - stop this junk of suspended with pay and fire her butt once and for all - I don't want her in the darn schools...to heck with that she made a mistake stuff.....she knows better and comes from money - she just got stupid.
So sad really, looks like she's in trouble again :? The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office and SBI arrested two people during a meth lab bust at 1742 Federal Road outside of Benson Wednesday night. Following a six month investigation, agents descended on a singlewide mobile home less than a quarter-mile from the Elevation Fire Department. Two people, Amy Snead-Lee, 38, of Four Oaks, (pictured below) and Charles Jeffrey Hayes Sr., 31, of Benson were arrested. Lee, a former second grade Johnston County school teacher, was arrested at Polenta Elementary School in 2007 on drug charges as part of Operation Pill Crusher. Narcotic agents seized approximately one gram of meth inside the mobile home, night vision glasses, a security camera, flair gun and ammunition. Investigators searched a wooded area and found approximately seven locations where meth making items were found, including some locations where the items, including an anhydrous ammonia tank, had been buried. Narcotics Captain A.C. Fish said a witness put both suspects in the wooded area where the meth-making items were located. Hayes and Snead-Lee were both charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, felony conspiracy, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a methamphetamine precursor. Hayes was placed in the Johnston County Jail under a $171,000 bond. Lee was confined under a $151,000 bond.
Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Yeah!!! Don't do it!!!!!! And keep your eye on the sparrow. When the gooooooing gets narrow. Yeah yeah yeah yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yes, I have seen that and more. I work with people who provide programs that try and rehabilitate people who are addicted, and it just blows me away. it wreaks havoc in so many ways.
Well, lets see, we have a TV show, with high ratings, of a teacher who turned to meth production. Seems to be a socially acceptable trade if millions support it by viewing?
How many times is she going to be arrested for this before she actually does any jail time? 3 Johnston County Residents Facing Federal Drug Charges Sheriff's Narcotics Captain A.C. Fish (far right) arrests Charles Jeffrey Hayes, 31, of Benson after reportedly finding meth lab components at his Federal Road home in March 2009. Hayes and two others, Amy Snead Lee and April Michelle Krob, were arrested on federal drug charges this week. WTSB Photo Three Johnston County residents have been arrested on federal drug charges. The US Attorney’s Office has adopted two cases where meth labs were reportedly seized by agents with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office. Amy Snead-Lee, 38, of Four Oaks and Charles Jeffrey Hayes Sr., 31, of Benson were arrested in March 2009 after a meth lab was allegedly found at a home on Federal Road. Agents said they found seven locations in a wooded area behind a mobile home where meth-making items were concealed, along with a security camera and night vision glasses. Snead-Lee is a former second grade school teacher, who was arrested at Polenta Elementary in 2007 on charges as part of Operation Pill Crusher, an unrelated investigation targeting suspects who allegedly shopped pharmacies for pseudophedrine pills, a key ingredient in the production of methamphetamine. Federal authorities have also charged April Michelle Krob of Benson who was arrested in December 2008 after leading deputies on a chase that ended on Shade Tree Road at Raleigh Road. Krob reportedly had a mobile meth lab in the trunk of her vehicle. When her car wrecked, a tank of anhydrous ammonia ruptured. Two deputies were treated and released at WakeMed for exposure to the toxic fumes.
Obviously they didn't take the good stuff out of it or we wouldn't have to sign for it at the pharmacy. I buy several boxes of Advil Cold and Sinus and Sudafed a month for both my husband and me certain times of the year. Now I'm scared! What is the limit?
