But is it worth it to give up a wonderful home for the puppy in order to "punish" Ellen or the other family? Why not check out the other family...while they keep the dog...and then give a lecture about contracts. This woman is "punishing" people for not "obeying" her silly rules...and she's refusing a good home for the dog in order to do it. This removes any credibility she and her organization may have had in regards to compassion for the animals.
Actually, no Ken. A good home is a good home. Is that not the principle and the basis of the organization...AND the basis of all the silly rules? This should be done in other such situations also....no matter who it is.
