Did you all read the latest? One man was describing the baby's hand and how the whole scene was awful. They are going to carry those images for a very a long time.

I wonder why they still call a full grown baby a fetus.

Because it hasn't been born yet.

If the crime scene was as bad as they've said, and there's evidence that it was cleaned, even painted over.....WTH was the wife? Out of town? What a terribly sad story.....and he claims it was suicide - how stupid does he think they are?

News reporting that the suspect was spotted near Shreveport, LA, believed to be trying to get into Texas.

My speculation is that with his Hispanic name, he is trying to get into Mexico, even though he's NOT A MEXICAN CITIZEN, to make sure that Mexico won't extradite him unless the death penalty is waived. Wouldn't be the first time Mexico has interfered with law enforcement and judicial cases in the US.

I've been watching Nancy Grace at night, and the last two nights her show has been on this. I just find it hard to believe that the wife had no knowledge of any of this.

I don't know, but if I came home from work and a strange car was at my home and a room had been painted, a hole dug and something burned, it wouldn't fly. Does anyone else find this weird?

I was wondering the same thing about the wife. I have two theories...either he was having an affair, the wife found out and said get rid of her...or he's the babies father (has that been confirmed?) and he didn't want it or the woman in his life and got rid of her. But yeah, if I came home and found blood all over the house, some newly painted rooms and a fresh grave in the backyard, it would definitely make me wonder!! :?

I think she was the tip to the police, but that was a couple weeks after all this happened.

Well, from the show I've been watching at night all this has been brought up, either by the police, the military, or their neighbors where this happened.

    1. The military says she first said she was raped, later said one time was consential and one time not, but she never felt threatened by him, but then had a restraining order (military). I find all that funny, it just doesn't add up. I don't know if the military is trying to cover their screw ups on this or not.

    2. I don't think DNA test have come back about the baby yet, but all indications (victims Mom, room mate, etc.) say he is.

    3. The neighbor, where the murder took place was on Nancy Grace the other night. She said he came over and borrowed a shovel from them on the day Maria was murdered. She also said he was driving the victims car and that something was being burned in the back yard, but they couldn't see over the fence to see what it was. She also said she asked the wife about paint in the garage and she said they had been painting.

    4. The girl was murdered before Christmas, but the wife didn't report it until this week? She was at work, came home to find a hole dug, a room painted, etc. etc. etc.???? Claims are she said her husband had told her that Maria came to their house and committed suicide-Now does that make sense to any of you? Then on the day she reported it he supposedly left her a note at 4 am or something like that and confessed, and that's when she called the PoPo? I don't know about you guys, but I'm not getting up at 4 am and finding a note. I just find this whole scenario VERY hard to believe.

There are a bunch of holes in this whole picture. I'll be glad when more details come out to make a little sense.

The wife is either stupid or in on it.

May be we can be proactive. You can work with the police and anyone that you feel has shifty eyes or you feel may be a little nutty can be locked up before they do any harm.

    and the plot thickens............

A day before he was named a suspect in the death of the pregnant Marine he was accused of raping, Cpl. Cesar Armando Laurean told his wife he buried her body near their house out of fear, according to a search warrant returned Thursday.

Christina Laurean told Onslow County sheriff's investigators she had that conversation with her husband on Jan. 10 while driving to meet Jacksonville attorney Mark Raynor, the affidavit said.

Cesar Laurean also told her that Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach showed up at his home on Dec. 15 to tell him she was leaving Jacksonville and demanded money from Laurean. The two then went to a bus station where he helped her buy a ticket to El Paso, the warrant said.

Christina Laurean told Onslow County sheriff's detective John Dubois that a disoriented and agitated Lauterbach returned to Cesar Laurean's house later that night and told him that "her plan had failed, that an argument ensued" and that she produced a knife and killed herself by slitting her throat."

"He became scared, took her body to a wooded area adjacent to his residence, and buried her. He obtained legal counsel and explained the facts to them. He was told that he was facing the death penalty," Dubois wrote.
