Sounds like to me Bren, your DH needs to sit out there one night and just rid you both of the little booger. Eh?

Night 1 = It's a draw. He didn't grace us with his presence.

On another note...guess what my DH bought yesterday? A catch and release trap! He had no idea I was gonna ask my 4042 peeps for advice and get one from ljk. So we set 2 in there last night. He used dog food in his, I used marshmellows in mine. After 26 years we're finally starting to think alike.

Bait them in with deer corn. I have some under the deck in a tupperware container. The little buggers have tried to get the container open to get at the corn.

Let me know if you want some of it.

    Or a .22 rifle?

My dad called me last night to tell me what he caught in his live trap beside his chicken coop. He had put a can of tuna inside his trap. When he went out to check it, there was a box turtle in the trap. He said in all his 69 years he's never seen a turtle get into a live trap!

Be careful, saw on the news last night there has been an unusually high report of rapid raccoons:shock:

Got raccoons and possums the come up on our porch just about every night to nibble away at the dry cat food out there. Course during the day it's the squirrels. As long as they don't bother my cats I'm ok with them being there. Now if one of them messes with one of cats, PRM will be able to come to the house the next day and pick up the dead body for some good eats.

Yay! Glad to hear it didn't take too long. So, your trap did the job, with the marshmallows?

Well...ahhh...nope...he stole the marshmellows and didn't trip the trap!! Stupid raccoon!! And on my DH's trap, he tripped the trap but it didn't catch him...don't ask me how that happened because we can't figure it out!

Where the heck do you live that they allow chickens in the back yard? Is your HOA aware of this? I think I'll give PETA a call!!
