I broke down and bought a pair of these last summer. I hate them...wore them for a total of maybe 30 min. Of course, niece tells me I just have to "break them in"...for $35-40, I shouldn't have to break them in! I love my Nike flip flops....wonderful for less than 20!
Well now y'all have got me wanting a pair! Of course, I'd have to give up my beautiful crocs . . . waiting on kellbell to tell me how ugly they are
PirateGirl, depending on what size yours are I may be willing to take them off your hands (or actually feet). I love mine-I have alot of foot problems and these are the first flip flops I've been able to wear that don't make my feet or legs ache. I also have the double arch and love them!
We have approximately 4 pair of Tevas at our house that have only been used for white water rafting. Anyone wanting a pair of size 5 or 6 are welcome to PM me and have them. Just tired of having stuff around! Sherry
Rainbows have a lifetime warranty. We keep the receipt and tag and have sent them back and received a new pair. Cannot beat that customer service. Sherry
I have never personally bought a pair, but I did get a pair from another 4042er (who I love!!) and now I wear them all the time! LOL
While looking through my closet I found a pair of Birkenstocks, size 5, that were only worn a couple of times. I'd be glad to give these to someone who would like them. What Liberal Hippie has not or does not have a pair of Birkenstocks lol? I found that SAS sandals are the most comfortable for me so I pretty much wear them always. My dad's store sells them, Ronnie's Country Store in Four Oaks off exit 90, and I am the one who orders them from the Rainbow company. Our kids are $21.99 for the molded (East/West Cape version) They are $24.99 for leather. Womens are $35.99 for the East/West Cape version. The single sole leather are $45.99 and thick sole are $49.99 Mens are $35.99 for the East/West Cape version The leather up to XL for single sole and thick sole are the same price as womens. Bigger than that they are about $53.49. I have NO idea how *edit* the place at JRs is getting by with selling them that cheap but if they don't sell them at the price they are given they will have their contract removed. Rainbows sents us a price sheet and if we don't list them at the exact price we get out contract taken away. It almost happened once to us. Just passing it along. We're getting a new shipment in too.
Are you guys referring to the place next to JR's in Smithfield? I just broke bad and bought DD a pair there this weekend. She got a man's small and they were 39.90. The kids were 29.90 and they had some for 49.90.
Yes, that's the place I was referring to. I thought somebody said it was Carhartt, that's why I referred to it as that.
Well the one's Onequkchk said she got were $39.99 for the Riviera...which according to Rainbow's 2009 price sheet should be higher. I might have to stop by and see for myself. If they are lower than what's supposed to be, I'm not going to call 'em in, but I might just let them know to be careful because...it was ANOTHER place in Smithfield that got us. :neutral:
