http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,345272,00.html The scaled-back proposal unveiled by Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., contains an amalgam of ideas aimed at boosting demand for housing and helping homeowners saddled with subprime mortgages avoid foreclosure. The plan contains $4 billion in grants to local governments to buy and refurbish foreclosed homes, new authority for states to issue bonds to be used to refinance subprime mortgages and a temporary $7,000 tax credit for people buying new homes or properties in foreclosure.
Now why in the world should you be eligible for the credit if buying a new home? I can see if buying a foreclosure...ugggg. I heard this on CNN last night!
I had a very similar problem but the Johnston County Planning and Zonning Department helped resolve the issue in less than a month. My problems occurred during the time outdoor burning was banned. Now my neighbor won't speak to me but the neighborhood looks nicer. http://www.co.johnston.nc.us/mainpage.cfm?category_level_id=529
