Been going to these guys for over 20 yrs. Staff is always the same which i do like...yes, they will add new folks as they grow but they seem to always get a good fit. Not saying anything bad about Dr. R's office at all because I have no experience with it...just love me some Dr. Marsh. He deals very well with me being a big baby! lol
Dr. McNeeley Found out that Dr. McNeeley has left Riccobene. I am so sad--I considered him to be our dentist. Now what to do?!?!?!?!?!
I haven't been to Dr. Riccobeene personally, but my daughter has been several times. Most recently, a couple days ago. She has nothing but wonderful things to say and in fact, I'm impressed that whomever she saw was honest and said there is nothing more he can do; she needs an oral surgeon and implants. She is far too young for dentures. He was honest enough to say he could keep trying to do repairs but in the end it would be a waste of money when the teeth are too far gone. She was unlucky not to have enamel on her teeth and has been plagued with problems since she was a toddler. Due to the honesty of this dentist, I may just consider going for a checkup-it would be my first in at least 8 years (I'm a big scaredy cat!). I just wish insurance covered implants!
Well if Dr. McNeely has gone, I'm going to have to find a new dentist. I used to only see Dr. Riccobene but then he stopped coming to the 4042 office. So I switched to seeing Dr. McNeely. Now I'm sad.
I can't speak to Riccobene except that I am impressed that he will address issues directly here on the forum. I have been seeing Dr. Tim Sims since we moved here in 2001 and just love him and his office. He does not accept insurance, you have to file yourself, but it's not been a huge issue for us. His office is behind the McDonalds at 4042. I love his office staff and he is extremely nice, professional and caring. That said, if he ever moved, or whatever, I would consider Riccobene based on his professionalism here.
I cannot praise Dr. R enough, to me he is so worth the trip to Cary to see him personally, as much as I hated it when he moved from our Cleveland community to Cary to be closer to his children and started working out of that office, i do understand his motivation.
