RIP Alan Colmes

    You were top notch even though our political views were vastly different.
    Always enjoyed your time on the Imus show. Prayers to the family.

    Damn...what happened? I never agreed with him but he was always sane and respectful during his time with FOX.

    That's a shame. Didnt realize he was 66, he seemed younger than that. Still too young.

    Colmes interviewed my wife back in the late '90's, and she says he was exactly as kind and decent in person as he was on TV. I used to mock him a bit on this forum for his passivity, but in truth I always liked him a lot, and anyone who earned so much praise from across the political spectrum deserves to be remembered fondly. I wish we had more folks like him working in the Media now. If so, maybe this country wouldn't be so divided.

    He will be missed.

    Rarely did I agree with him, but I always liked him for some reason. I used to want him to FU Hannity on occasion, just because.
