I'm so sorry to hear about your loss of your fur baby. I had to go through the same way 4 months ago. I know he's no longer suffer with pain and agonizing and he's up in the heaven, chasing butterflies on the yellow daisies covered meadow. He was a such sweet kitty and I miss him dearly. Your pet is now happier in the heaven, thanking you for being a loving pet owner.

Got a sympathy card from our vets at Clayton Animal, and an especially thoughtful note from our vet, herself. Never ever had or heard of a vet's office sending out a sympathy note. Getting better a bit, but reading that note opened the flood gates for a while.

Safe weekend to everyone...and remember, I40 between 70 and 42 will be one lane per side From Friday at 6pm through Sunday at 6pm.

That's my vet office, and with the recent emergency surgery, etc. my Bully had a couple months ago, I know they are the best! My bill was so high Dr. Mike took $700 off of it. He had never performed Esophageal Surgery before, but offered to do it to give my boy a fighting chance. The Vet School wanted almost triple what he charged me just for the one surgery, and my total bill was $2,700 and that was for esophageal surgery, stomach surgery, all his food, meds and iv for almost a month total. I'm so lucky my little boy made it and is healthy today, if it weren't for Dr. Mike I don't think he'd be here now. That man would call me at 10 pm at night, Sunday's, etc. to give me updates (because he'd be there checking on him).

    SB,
you got that right...they are the best I've ever known.
Glad your li'l bow wow is ok...
Our cocker youngster, Jordan, is having difficulty adjusting to Madison's absence (as if we all aren't) She'll bark for her in what I interpret as a questioning tone..."where are you" and then when she gtse no answer, Jordan just lays down and sighs. Tears me up.

I can only imagine that she misses Madison as much as you guys do. Hopefully she'll adjust fine, just give it some time. I just can't imagine what you are going through, my heart hurts for your family!
