Shock collars, what do you think?

    My dog knows what 'speak' means. He knows what 'no' means... and one morning when he was barking @ 5am just to bark, he learned really quickly what 'no speak' meant. We've had a 'don't wake mommy up more than once' understanding since then. :lol:

    I don't like the shock idea just because I don't want them to hesitate barking when they see strangers or something out of the ordinary. Like kids, mine can comprehend there is a time & place for things.

    My labs were that way. (we got to keep any that "failed" guide dog school) I even had one that would bark just with a hand signal.... but this darn chihuahua either isn't smart enough to learn, or just doens't want to learn. I havn't figure out which.

    I would never use the shock collar, but it was a nice fantasy while the thought lasted. :lol:
