It sucks that there were signs this guy had some issues.... I guess this will maybe have all Branches doing a stand down and hi-light these early signs better than they did here.... Monday morning Qb here but this could so easily of been avoided by the info coming out.... Such a shame it is. Oh and I hope the dude dies...
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/nation/6706332.html His name is Nidal Malik Hasan. He was born in Virginia to parents who immigrated from Jordan. With so many infidels in the US, why do these people come here? Why not just stay in the Holy Lands where everything is perfect? Why do we LET them come here?
My brother-in-law is based there....thank goodness he is OK!!! I just read that his neighbors at an apartment complex told police after it happened that he gave away all of his furniture and gave them each a copy of the Koran. Didn't that strike them as the least bit suspicious??????
Sorry, I'm venting right now......I just wish that ba----- would have killed himself instead of killing and injuring all those innocent people. Makes me sick. Oh well, I just had to say that.
I just don't get WHY he was still in the military if he so obviously disagreed with everything the military here in the US is about. I mean, really. If you are that unhappy, get out and move somewhere that better suits your own personal agenda. :? Why make innocent people pay for your life choices.
As far as why he didn't just get out, he couldn't. the military put him through school (including med school, i think i heard?), so he was bought and paid for. That doesn't justify ANY of what he did BY ANY MEANS. its just why he couldn't simply leave. It was very stupid of him, or anyone else, to think that the military is just simply going to give you an education without putting it to use for something. They get their moneys worth. I'm not gonna say anything about the rest of it... because words just won't work for it.
Looks like another one today in a high-rise office building in Orlando http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2009-11-06-orlando-shots-office_N.htm?csp=YahooModule_News
