    Until the punishment for DUI is harsher, and until the death penalty is the most likely outcome for killing someone while driving impaired ...NO it should not be legalized.

    When the sentence for a second DUI is lifetime probation that prohibits any possession, and when the sentence for a 3rd DUI is a lifetime revocation of your license ...then sure, legalize it.
